Who: Any user of Embroidery Magic 2 who wants to learn the basics of getting started with the
digitizing process in EM2
The class is limited to the first 15 people who join the meeting.
How: BEFORE Wednesday afternoon, use the instructions below to download the GoToMeeting
program to your computer. If you have computer issues with the download or with joining
the meeting, I cannot help you resolve those issues once the meeting has started.
You will be able to see my computer screen, but I will not be able to see you or your computer.
Link: At 1:55 on Wednesday afternoon, go to GoToMeeting to join the class. The link provided here
is the link to this specific class and it will not function until Wednesday at 2:00.
Call: After you have joined the meeting on line, call 712-775-7015 to take part in the discussion and
listen to the class. You must have the ability to be on line at the same time you are on the phone
if you want to listen to the class.

Click on the link at the right to visit the GoToMeeting web site.

Click on the link at the left side of the GoToMeeting screen to Join a Meeting.
Use the access code included above.
Call the phone number provided above to hear the audio portion.

Do you use a dial-up Internet service?
|
|
|
To take part in an on-line class, you will need to be able to make a long distance phone call while you are on the Internet. If you are using a dial-up Internet
service, the video from the teacher’s computer will be delayed.
Because your dial-up Internet service uses your phone line, you will need a separate phone line or cell phone to make the long distance call. If you have to pay for long distance service, you will be charged for the time you are using the phone. I did not know that my home phone company offered a monthly fee for unlimited long distance until I called them and asked. It might be worth a phone call to just ask the question!
If you use a dial-up service and do not have access to a separate phone for the audio portion of the class, you will only be able to see the teacher’s computer screen. Without the ability to
hear what is being said, you will not benefit as much from the class.

I highly recommend that you take the time to download the software
at least 24 hours before the scheduled class so you can test the system
on your computer.

|
